About the Role

We’re expanding our growth team at Voiceflow! We’re looking for someone to lead the creation of educational resources for Voiceflow users.

This role is contract part-time and can expand over time. The rate for the role is $25/hour and initially capped at 15 hours per week. This role may expand overtime.

The goal of this role is to help new users get started faster. You’ll have calls with new users on Voiceflow each week to stay on the pulse of whats needed, and assistant users in our discord community to understand where the gaps are. From there you’ll create new tutorials, content and templates to help users get started faster on Voiceflow.

This role will be responsible for the creation of educational content for Voiceflow users. This includes but is not limited to the creation and updating of: Video tutorials, templates, simple Javascript functions, and other educational materials.

You must be based in or around Toronto as we will be filming content in person in our recording studio in our office.


What You’ll Do

Responsibilities

  • Planning, filming, and editing video tutorials
  • Creation and upkeep of downloadable templates both in the app and marketplace
  • Creation and upkeep of new Javascript functions both in the app and marketplace
  • Assistant user in the Voiceflow community discord

A week in the life

  • Assistant users in discord with questions
  • Identification of common use cases or areas in Voiceflow where users have difficulty
  • Planning and creation of video tutorials
  • Scripting and the creation of downloadable templates or flows for the tutorials
  • Filming and editing

About You

  • You’re an expert at Voiceflow
  • You are comfortable in front of a camera
  • You can use AI to write and debug simple code
  • You can explain complex concepts easily

Our Process

  • Application- To apply for this role you will need to submit a 3 minute video introducing yourself and giving an overview of an assistant you’ve built on Voiceflow that you’re most proud of. Tell us what it does and show us the main features on the canvas and how you build it! As part of the application you’ll also submit the .vf file of that project so we can take a look at the project itself.
  • Final Assignment - Create a tutorial under 10 minutes demonstrating how to use the logic and API step in Voiceflow. You can choose any use case that you want. We will pay $75 to compensate you for your time at this stage.
  • Role Screening Call - a 30-minute call with Daniel (Sr. Product Manager, Growth) to learn more about the role, our company and align on expectations for the role.
  • Offer- this is the part where we all celebrate!


Logistics (adjust as required)

  • Location: we are located in Toronto and operate on a Hybrid model where our team comes into the office 1-2 days per week. This is where our film equipment is. You will be expected to come into the office roughly once a week for a few hours to film content
  • Compensation: this role pays $25/hour and is capped at 15 hours per week. Additional hours can be added as needed and the role can be expanded overtime.
