Job Description
As a member of our Solutions Consulting team, you will have a major impact on our future success by supporting Enterprise Sales. The Solutions Engineer will be a key partner to prospects and customers, scoping and delivering solutions in collaboration with executives and technical contributors. Working hands-on with prospects and customers, the SE will demonstrate the value of Voiceflow from proof of concept to implementation. Additionally, you will work with various teams to resolve customer concerns, escalate bug issues, and serve as a subject matter expert. Solutions Engineers are a critical member of the team and have a voice with the product team to help prioritise features based on input from customers, competitors, and partners.

Scope of Role

  • Support Sales and Customer Success as a technical and domain expert
  • Collaborate with Solutions Consultants to lead technical discovery workshops that uncover customer needs and challenges
  • Own solution design and delivery from start to finish Remove technical barriers by coding solutions to eliminate customer obstacles where possible in deployment
  • Enable customer’s technical teams to successfully deploy solution on time
  • Answer product feature and technical questions from customers, channel partners and Voiceflow colleagues
  • Provide feedback to product management and engineering about product enhancements that address customer needs and provide additional value
  • Share and learn best practices and re-usable assets with other Solution Consultants to enhance the quality and efficiency of the team

Qualifications

  • To be successful in this role you have:
    • 5+ years of pre-sales solution engineering or developer experience
    • Experience with Javascript, HTTP Servers, websocket servers, mobile development,
    • React, or similar web development technologies
    • Experience developing integrations to core Enterprise software like Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Snowflake, MongoDB, Twilio, Zendesk, Genesys, etc.
    • Proficiency with Conversational Design, Business Process Automation, or AI/ML
    • Experience working collaboratively with solution consulting, sales, product management, partners, and professional services
    • Exceptional time management and execution skills, able to deliver customer solutions on time
    • Strong customer facing presentation skills, comfortable presenting to C-suite and technical audiences alike
    • Able to travel 20% of the time
  • Bonus:
    • Experience with other programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
    • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
    • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
